Reliance Jio may not be extending HNY offer on promising Prime numbers

The march of the newest entrant into India’s booming telecom market, Reliance Jio, was dampened a few days ago when reports stated that the company was contemplating extending its Happy New Year offer in a bid to attract further takers for its Jio Prime membership, the numbers for which supposedly didn’t measure up to expectations. However, sources have now revealed that this might not be the case.

Sources inside the agency have said that Jio is last in on the 50 million Prime member mark, a goal that it had set for itself. This method that near 50 percent of Jio’s 100 million or so customers are now Prime individuals. On the back of those cutting-edge figures, the telecom operator appears content material to permit its Happy New Year to provide, set to expire on March 31, to cease.

Reliance Jio took another step in advance in its effort to convey greater customers onto its platform currently, unveiling a new ‘purchase one get one’ offer where Prime users are given extra data benefits on a recharge of Rs 149 and above. The window begins from 1 GB and goes as much as 5 GB and 10 GB of statistics for the recharges completed inside the period of the Happy New Year offer, that's slated to give up on March 31. However, the facts offers continue to be to be had until April 1. In the new offer, the Jio customers can declare up to ten GB of loose records on early recharges.
